greysedit preston burke cristina yang grey's anatomy ga spoilers ga10 my gif this scene really spoke volumes to me about his character development and how far preston has come the way he looks at the harper avery. how he was honest with cristina about how it didn't make him a better doctor. how it just consumed him and eventually destroyed him in a way he couldn't be proud of. i don't like burke. don't get me wrong. but i do approve of this development. and i approve of this scene so hard. these two needed this closure so badly. they needed this conversation. cristina needed to see that burke had moved on that he hadn't forgotten about her either. because for so long she spent following his career. thinking that he had just forgotten about her. the way he never mentioned her in his harper avery. or in the past in general. she felt erased. but this? this moment here? seeing burke in this setting and him throwing this at her with no strings attached? she needed that. and i am so okay if this is how cristina is leaving. i am really okay with this. because cristina more than just deserves this. and knowing she'd be leaving for this? i know she'll be okay. and she'll be doing something that excites her. and keeps her on her toes. she needs this. wants this. DESERVES it. good for cristina. and i wish you all the luck in the world. even though i know you don't need it.
